Kids can enjoy free Halloween entertainment at Aintree Racecourse with family fun day

Aintree Racecourse's Halloween family fun day returns on October 29

Aintree Racecourse is welcoming families for a day of Halloween fun on October 29.

The Halloween-themed family day is a jump racing event suitable for all ages. Alongside a range of events including steeple chases and hurdle races, kids are asked to come in their spookiest outfits for a day of fun and activities.

Entry and entertainment is free for children and include face painters, characters walking the grounds, a ghost train and many more scary surprises.

The day will be highlighted by the feature race, the Old Roan Chase, with past winners including Nuts Well, Forest Bihan, and Cheltenham Festival Ryan Air Chase winner Frodon.

The day is complemented by countryside activities off the track free for all the family to enjoy. Gates open at 10:50am with the first race at 12:50pm and the final at 16:20pm.
